Paul has just finished a successful short tour of Ireland with his wife Shona Donaldson. They performed to warm and appreciative audiences in Dublin, Howth and at the Mermaid centre in Bray. Also taking part in the concerts were the internationally renowned Nickleharper, Peter Headlund from Sweeden and respected Ullienn piper, Leo Rickerd.
Finishing touches are just being put to Paul's new album, "North of the Grampian's" which has more or less been ready for about two years. His Scots fiddle tutorial DVD is also in the final stages and should hopefully be out before Chrismas.
Tickets are now available from the Aberdeen box office for the "Hogmanay" concertin the City of Aberdeen Music Hall which Paul is producing. As well as himself on fiddle, also appearing on the bill are the Bucksburn Juvenile Pipe band (2009 juvenile world champions), Scots singer of the year 2009/2010, Shona Donaldson, Graeme Mitchell and his Scottish Country Dance Band, Steve Robertson and George Donald of "Scotland the What?" and the North-East's favourite compere as M.C, Robert Lovie. Come along if you can make it as it's guaranteed to be a fnatastic night. Tickets are £16.
